About : Bela Belara (22) suffers from night terrors and a lack of purpose and identity. She takes Micah Hexicah (20) to a party where she meets Arthur Albescu (132), a mysterious and inviting man who connects with she connects with instantly. They share a warm and tender night together, unraveling each other's identities and sounding the other out from their lowest note to the top of their compass. Not all is at it seems, however, as Arthur reveals himself to be a vampire and drip feeds a paralyzed Bela his blood. Bela, now hunger-stricken and afraid, must scramble to find a cure to her affliction with the help of her witchcraft-practicing best friend. Together, Bela and Micah hatch a plan to hopefully find and concoct a solution. With Micah's smarts and Bela's willpower, they break down Arthur's cunning and reveal a threat of a spreading vampirism plague creeping up the horizon.
