Directed and produced by two military veterans, Calvin Grimm and Tyler Miller, these 37 heroes' lives are described through interviews with their families, friends, and unit members along with actual combat footage of their units overseas from over 30 combat camera men and women. Major General Allen Tackett, retired Commander of the West Virginia National Guard, provides key insight into these veterans' service and major turning points in the War on Terror. The film is narrated by Jammie Ferrell, also a veteran, and the film's original soundtrack includes music written and recorded completely by West Virginian musicians.
