As she draws inspiration from painful experiences in her youth, she finds herself getting fueled by a community she never expected. We explore the "dark place" of an ultramarathon - which is often a battle of the mind, and what comes up emotionally while running. Dreama didn't have the best role models in her childhood as she experienced neglect and abuse; but discovered the running community as a positive influence.
