Born and raised in Kenya, east Africa, Gregory is an alum of the Gotham (formerly IFP) filmmaker labs in New York, Gregory's feature, A Song Still Inside, was selected into the US in Progress post production program in Wroclaw, Poland and received the Best Cinematography award at the GenArt Film Festival. Gregory is the writer of Chasing the Panther: Adventures and Misadventures of a Cinematic Life (HarperCollins), the memoir of film pioneer Carolyn Pfeiffer. His script, Deepest Blue, was a Nicholl Fellowship quarter finalist.
