• About T.C. Stallings

T.C. Stallings is a former professional athlete now finding success in film and television. T.C.'s desires shifted from football to acting in 2004, when he landed a spot on Animal Planet's King of the Jungle, a reality television show where he emerged as the season 2 champion. It was at this time in T.C.'s life that strong desires to one day become a force within the entertainment industry began to emerge. While NFL dreams still held the top spot in his ambitions, acting and entertainment began to slowly take up more space in his mind. Eventually, he decided to retire from football and pursue acting wholeheartedly. He knew right from the beginning what type of performer he wanted to be: clean. To him, this simply meant that he never wanted either God, himself, or his family to ever be ashamed of his projects. With no experience or any assurances that he would succeed, T.C. boldly dropped everything and started to focus solely on his acting career. He then began a 4-year stint with Russell Athletic as a fitness model. In 2011, T.C. made his feature film debut in the movie, "Courageous", a faith based genre hit. T.C. leaned on faith-based films early in his career journey, as they seemed to be a safe way to cut his teeth in the industry until he felt confident enough to eventually start to pursue more mainstream (but still clean) roles. T.C. continued securing lead roles in faith-based films while also quickly finding commercial success, booking several national TV commercials, with two of them being featured during the 2014 Super Bowl and the 2016 Rio Olympics. It was in 2015 however, that his film career reached new heights with his break-out performance as "Tony Jordan" in the hit film, "War Room", which soared to #1 at the box office. Several films later, it would be his portrayal of the real-life homeless, depressed, and drug addicted "Cecil Johnson" in the film "No Vacancy" that would forever change the types of roles that T.C. seeks. After the mental, emotional, and technical challenges required to play Johnson, T.C. was deeply challenged--and hooked. He credits the depth within these types of roles as the "it factor" that makes them so powerful, and for him, the most desirable to work on. His ultimate goal is to be a part of captivating, deep, meaningful storytelling. T.C. is a wide-ranging actor, a huge advocate for clean family entertainment, and enjoys positively impacting the lives of others.
