Jijo Reed is an Emmy Award-winning producer and 16-time Telly Award winner. Reed’s body of work spans more than 150 feature films and series. His films have reached audiences worldwide through wide theatrical releases and distribution on major streaming platforms including Netflix, Apple TV+, Hulu and Tubi, while also being showcased at acclaimed film festivals including Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, and Toronto International Film Festival. Reed has been recognized by MSN, LA Weekly, and the New York Post as a leader in independent film post-production. His company, Sugar Studios, was named "Top Post Production Studio of 2025" by Media & Entertainment Business Review. Early in his career, Reed served as Post Supervisor on the audio and visual marketing campaigns for major studio releases including Casino, True Lies, Star Trek, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon 4, Unforgiven, and Basic Instinct. Working on campaigns for some of Hollywood’s most successful films helped shape his expertise in post-production, creative finishing, studio marketing, and large-scale content delivery. Reed also served as Visual Effects Supervisor for The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., the immersive Marvel attraction that became a major destination in Times Square and Las Vegas. One of the defining moments of his career came while directing and producing a documentary about the RMS Titanic. Reed descended 2.5 miles beneath the Atlantic Ocean in the Russian MIR-1 submersible to the actual wreck site, becoming one of the few people ever to visit the famed ship on the ocean floor. More people have traveled to outer space than have reached this depth of the ocean. His groundbreaking footage of Titanic has been recognized worldwide. Reed calls the experience "the most life-changing project of my career." He was Executive Producer of the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Concert in Washington, D.C., featuring will.i.am and John Legend, and has produced screen media for major live performances including Eminem’s MTV Awards appearance and Guns N’ Roses. In 2004, Reed created the hit VH1 series Celebrity Rehab, an award-winning program that brought addiction and recovery into mainstream public discussion. A third-generation Los Angeles native, Reed grew up in Studio City, California. He is the grandson of Alan Reed, the voice of Fred Flintstone, and the nephew of legendary Hollywood choreographer Hermes Pan, best known for his collaborations with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
