• About Wes Whittaker

Wes Whittaker is an award-winning Writer, Director, and Producer. His feature Nev/r, a time-bending sci-fi thriller shot in Nashville, marks his debut feature as writer-director. His short film The Man From Another Dimension won "Best Sci-Fi" at the Chandler International Film Festival. Wes studied film at New York University and Santa Fe University of Art and Design, and began his career writing for a commercial production company in Los Angeles before transitioning into narrative filmmaking. His projects include films, documentaries, and TV pilots such as Sky Hotel, which won "Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Pilot" at the Oaxaca Film Festival and was a Quarterfinalist at Shore Scripts. He has also worked as a crew member on major productions including the Academy Award-winning No Country for Old Men. In addition to filmmaking, Wes holds a Master's degree in Psychology and works as a licensed therapist at a correctional facility in Nashville, a dual path that brings depth, empathy, and humanity to his storytelling.
