Waqar Peter Gill is a writer and director currently based in Maryland, USA, with extensive experience working across major television networks in Pakistan and the United States. His career spans telefilms, sitcoms, TV dramas, commercials, music videos, documentaries, live shows, event promos, and live news coverage-giving him a strong command of both narrative and large-scale production. He is the writer and director of the feature film "Agent Jayne (A Woman with a Mission)," released globally across major platforms, including Tubi, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and other international networks. His recent feature, Annihilator Unleashed, marks another milestone as writer and director, and has launched its worldwide streaming journey on Amazon Prime. In short-form storytelling, Waqar and his creative partner Shalini Sood have earned multiple awards for their motivational films Regret, Kismet, and The Chess Match, each recognized for delivering powerful themes with clarity and emotional precision. Waqar’s films consistently carry a deeper message, blending meaning with action and thrill. Whether working in short or feature format, his storytelling is driven by purpose-using tension, momentum, and strong characters to explore ambition, consequence, and human resilience. He also served as part of the executive team for UFI Motion Pictures on the Bollywood feature Shiv Shastri Balboa, produced by Kishore Varieth and starring Anupam Kher.
