Dave Bresnahan is a Utah actor, writer, director, and producer known for The Boy Who Knew Jesus, Devil's Men, Forgotten, and Murder Among the Mormons. He is also an award-winning journalist, publicist, book author, voice over artist, and broadcaster. He is passionate about making family friendly movies. His ancestry is from Ireland and Sweden. He grew up in Massachusetts, and lived for a time in Tralee, Ireland. He now lives with his family in Utah where he enjoys his hobby of scenic, wildlife, and astro-photography, as well as hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and rock climbing. He has traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. He and his wife Rona have served as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has a bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Computer Science and another minor in American History from Westminster College of Salt Lake City (1986). He now has a neutral accent, but can easily provide a Boston, Southern, Irish, English, French, or Russian accent as needed. He was a high school and college gymnast, and coached the USA men's team (1986). He volunteers as a community service EMT, and teaches first aid, CPR, AED classes to the public to help people be better prepared to save lives. He also provides services as a set medic for film projects needing those services.
